Virgil Abloh x Figures of Speech
Most know Virgil Abloh as the man behind Pyrex and Off-White. He’s most recently known as the artistic director of men’s wear at Louis Vuitton. This is only a fraction of the influence he has on the culture.
“Figues of Speech”chronicles Abloh’s multi-layered career. His foundation in architecture, a contemporary artist and designer, renown contributions to streetwear and high fashion, and also a DJ loved worldwide.
As you walk through each room the message behind the exhibit starts to become clear. You can be anything you want, as long as you don’t limit yourself to one thing – one career, one point of view, or one idea.

As “Figures Of Speech” comes to a close in Chicago, I wanted to recap one of the most dynamic art exhibits I’ve ever experienced.
